Wafer is a Utah based progressive jam band in the vein of Umphrey's McGee, Phish, Moe, Gov't Mule. We've recently lost our drummer and we're looking to replace him ASAP. We have shows booked as early as the end of January.
We're all experienced musicians in our early 30's and we're looking for a like minded drummer between 21 - 40 years old. Someone who understands and appreciates this genre and can handle the music. We play original and covered music.
We rehearse 1 - 2 times a week in Kaysville and play out between 2 - 4 shows a month throughout Utah and the occasional weekend show out of state.
Among many club dates throughout Utah/Idaho we've had the opportunity to open for Hot Buttered Rum at The State Room, played regional festivals, and played an evening set that the Utah Arts Festival. This summer we hope to expand those regional festival dates.
